Cosmetological Studies - Seminar Registration - Hair: Basic Barbering

Seminar Description

Barber Basics — The seminar's objective is to prepare the Barber Professional to demonstrate human relations in a professional setting, the proper safety and infection control procedures, as well as perform techniques of shampooing along with the foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology and chemistry. The seminar's focus is cutting and framing. (4 days - 16 hours)

Seminar kit ($150) contains 1 Wahl super tape clipper, 1 Andis styliner, 1 trimmer, 1 7-inch cutting shear, 1 5-inch cutting shear, 2 barber tape combs, 2 style combs, 1 neck duster, 1 hair cutting cape, 1 male mannequin and stand, 1 water spray bottle and 1 plastic clipper guard set.

Registration Agreement

I understand that this seminar is for continuing education only in order to enhance my skills in the field of cosmetology and/or barbering and its related fields. This means that I have already been licensed by the state or have completed the necessary training that is required by the state in order to obtain a license.

I understand that the seminar must be paid in full fourteen (14) calendar days before the start of class. If I should cancel, I understand that the registration fee is non-refundable. If the cancellation is less than 14 calendar days I will receive a refund of 50% of the seminar cost, and if less than 7 days the seminar fee in its entirety will be forfeited.

I understand that the seminar must be finished in its entirety in order to receive a certificate of completion. This means that if any classes are missed, I must complete them. If this is necessary, I will be required to pay 25% of the total cost of the seminar for each class missed.

I understand that I will be required to furnish certain materials that are needed for the seminar and a list will be provided.

I understand this seminar is 4 days long (occurring on Mondays and Tuesdays), beginning on October 15, 2007 and ending on October 23, 2007 from 6-10pm for a total of 16 hours.
